Energy installations destroyed in Russian attack on Ukrainian port; 15 lakh people deprived of electricity

Kyiv: 1.5 million people have lost power after Russia targeted two energy installations in the Ukrainian port of Odessa. According to foreign media, Russia has used Iranian-made drones to target energy installations, but this claim has not been confirmed by independent sources. On the other hand, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said in his video address that the situation in the Odesa region is very difficult, unfortunately, it may take a long time to restore electricity, unfortunately it will take a few days, not hours. Since October, Moscow has been targeting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure with missiles and drone strikes. Zelinsky said Norway is sending $100 million to help restore Ukraine’s energy system.
