Islamabad: The number of pending cases in the Supreme Court decreased, the Supreme Court decided 24 thousand 303 cases during one year.
According to the declaration issued by the Supreme Court, during the last 12 months, 22 thousand 18 new cases were filed in the Supreme Court, compared to which 24 thousand 303 were filed in the Supreme Court.
According to the statement, the number of pending cases of the Supreme Court decreased from 54,735 to 52,450 thousand. Earlier, 16,961 cases were disposed of in the Supreme Court during one year, which is the highest number since 2018.
The declaration said that expeditious disposal of cases involves the work of judges, case management system and formation of benches.
