We did not make any unconstitutional demands in the meetings with the Army Chief. Asad Umar

Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Asad Umar says that there was no unconstitutional demand in the meetings with the Army Chief. During the press conference in Lahore, Asad Umar said that it is welcome if the army wants to remain in its constitutional role. Asad Umar said that there is a need to consider the people who stand with the permanent institutions. Defending them, why are they raising questions? If you think about it, you may find that some mistakes have been made by the institutions as well. The former federal minister further said that it is true that Pakistan was divided due to hatred, but has it been tried to know why these hatreds were created? This happened because an attempt was made to suppress the opinion of the majority of the people of Pakistan. Referring to the press conference of DG ISPR, he said that he also said that we have no objection to the long march. Peaceful protest is a constitutional right of the people. Asad Umar has said that there is no doubt that the army has influence on the political system and to say that you have influence, if you use that influence, you may agree with it or not. This is not an unconstitutional demand.
