Every member of PTI will confirm his resignation in personal capacity, National Assembly

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly has announced a clear policy regarding the confirmation of resignations of PTI members in which the spokesperson has said that every member of the National Assembly of PTI has to personally confirm his resignation. According to the spokesman, PTI’s joint appearance and confirmation of resignations from their respective seats is being heard once again, which the National Assembly has drawn attention to by referring to the letter. The spokesperson said that a reply was sent to the letter sent by Parliamentary Leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi on December 22, welcoming the possible return of PTI members, while also reminding the contents of the letter. According to the text of the letter, PTI members of the National Assembly will be called to confirm the resignations and each member of the National Assembly will have to confirm his/her resignation in person. The procedure for confirmation of resignations of the National Assembly will be called under sub-rule 43, paragraph (B) of the Rules and Regulations, 2007. has been invited to the Assembly chamber and despite being formally invited, no member of the National Assembly of PTI came to confirm the resignation. It should be noted that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf MLAs will go to the National Assembly on December 28 to confirm the resignations.
